So it was a season?

It’s the end of the season, time to look back on everything that happened. As the new blogger here, I hope to keep you guys a little more informed of things going on at Palace. And just as every Palace fan wants I’ll be bringing you the news on the transfer market. For right now, there’s not much out there. In the coming weeks I’ll blog regularly on everything from current players, to who needs to join the squad, to Palace Legends.

Today’s bit of news, players leaving the ground.

Paul Ifill, John Oster and James Scowcroft are among nine first-team players that are being released.

The other players leaving Selhurst Park are Scott Flinders, Carl Fletcher, Ryan Carolan, James Dayton, Jamie Smith and David Wilkinson.

It looks like the manager is trying to get all the old guys, dead wood, and players he didn’t bring in out of here. Fortunately, for Palace there’s a very strong academy so the manager can afford to cut many players. But he cut two goalies. That’s strange.
